Lock Down

2020 has been a funny weird year  but I feel fortunate to have come this far and so grateful to the NHS.

I am thankful that I have a great family and since the last time I wrote on this blog I have become a great grand mother to a beautiful baby girl.

Hopefully I will try and be more forthcoming with the posts .

Rediscovery

Earlier this year I rediscovered my love of knitting. It all started with my next door neighbours expecting babies. So I dug out my knitting needles and started knitting.

By doing this  I rediscovered my love of knitting and not only have I knitted baby things but also a cardigan and sweater for my self.

It has also given me an opportunity to branch out in knitting items for my website. Cariad Jewelry Box . 

As I not only make jewellery I also make accessories so I have knitted  mobile phone sleeves. Each one features a handcrafted polymer clay button.They make great little stocking fillers and they are hand knitted with love.

Back Again!!!!!

Haven't been around much must get back into blogging on a regular basis.

I have been busy though! 

Hopefully in the future I will post some  pictures of some my makes in polymer. Some of my makes in fabric, wool and mixed media.

Start of a new blog.

Back in August 2008 I started a blog, thought it would be a good idea at the time. Well you know how things are at  the time get all excited about starting something new and then ...blank.

In the beginning I just could not get the hang of it. I posted one or two posts and  got disheartened. Tried again a few years later  and even though I didn't really post a lot  even though I promised myself I would.

Well any way to cut a long story short back in September last year everything seemed to go kaput computer included and when I was able to get back online I was unable to access my blog. And so I have had to start all over again.....

For any one who is remotely interested my former  blog was Christine - Cariad Jewelry Box.

For now I shall close off and post some more later on. Hopefully not too late!
